Private investor & business buyer

Looking to acquire great UK businesses for the long term.

I’m Aman Sandhu, a private investor looking to acquire established, profitable businesses — with a current focus on care businesses, nurseries and marketing agencies.

If you are thinking about retirement, succession or simply what comes next for your business, I would be happy to have an initial confidential conversation.

About me

A commercial background focused on growth.

I’m Aman Sandhu, a private investor based in the UK. My professional background is in marketing, with more than 12 years’ experience in senior performance and digital marketing roles.

Much of my career has focused on customer acquisition, business growth and using data to improve commercial performance. My longer-term objective is to build a group of high-quality UK businesses through acquisition.

I’m looking to acquire strong companies, retain the people and practices that make them successful, and support their long-term development. Where there are opportunities to grow, my background in marketing and customer acquisition can bring an additional perspective.

“My approach is simple: understand what makes a business successful, protect those strengths and look for sensible opportunities to grow.”

What I’m looking for

Strong businesses with solid foundations.

I’m primarily looking for established businesses with a strong reputation, consistent trading and a team that wants to remain part of the next chapter.

01

Care businesses

Including domiciliary care, home care and other established care businesses.

02

Nurseries & childcare

Including established day nurseries, nursery groups and other childcare businesses.

03

Marketing agencies

Including established digital, performance, creative and specialist marketing agencies with strong client relationships and recurring revenue.

04

Other sectors

I’m also open to established businesses in other sectors where there is a strong fit with my acquisition criteria.

Preferred acquisition profile

What a good fit looks like

✓

UK businesses
Preferably London, South East, South West or Midlands

✓

Turnover up to £10m
Typically established small and medium-sized businesses

✓

EBITDA / operating profit of £200,000+
With consistent underlying profitability

✓

Stable cash flows
And strong customer relationships

✓

Founder-led or family-owned
With a strong reputation built over time

✓

A team that wants to stay
Ideally with capable managers and loyal employees

✓

Room for sensible growth
Without changing what already makes the business successful

Not every business will fit these criteria exactly. If you are considering selling and believe there may be a fit, I’m still happy to have a conversation.

Why sell to me?

A more personal route to selling your business.

For many owners, the business represents years of work, relationships and reputation. Who takes it forward can matter just as much as the transaction itself.

01

Deal directly with the buyer

You will deal directly with me rather than being passed between different people inside a large investment firm.

02

Confidential from the outset

Any conversation will be treated discreetly. I’m also happy to sign a confidentiality agreement where appropriate.

03

Respect for what you have built

The businesses I’m interested in are valuable precisely because of the reputation, people and customer relationships their owners have built.

04

Continuity for your team

Where there is a strong management team and loyal employees, I would ideally like them to remain part of the business.

05

A long-term approach

My objective is to build a group of strong businesses over time — not simply acquire companies for a short-term resale.

06

Experience driving growth

My marketing background can help generate enquiries, attract new customers and strengthen digital acquisition while preserving the existing brand.

What happens next?

A straightforward, confidential first step.

You do not need to prepare a sale pack or make any commitment. The first step is simply a conversation to see whether there may be a fit.

Confidential enquiry

Considering selling your business?

You do not need to have formally put your business on the market. Many of the best conversations happen well before an owner has made a final decision.

Complete the short form and I will contact you personally. An initial conversation does not commit either of us to anything.
